this is a big world, who knows what will happen next min, so it might be ture, but I think he/she should go to the hell cause he/she is in the country, which speaks english all the time, how can he/she survive in that environment!

In English, this is called "hook."  A good essay begins with a good hook.  When a hook appears in English language, it mean a sentence or sentences can catch people attention and give people desire to continue to read the following.  A Chinese English teacher may not give any point to the writer, but if the English teacher is a native English speaker, he/she will give at less 10% of the total point.  I believe 10% of the total point will make a big different.

i wouldn't give the kid a pass if i were the teacher.
There must be several components in total mark.
He/she might get some points for the idea or creativity part, but won't get many for the part of language use and languae content.
I don't think that the teacher sucks though, very tolerant instead. It's a piece of creative writing anyway.
If sheeps can speak, then they might might as well speak Chinese.

i think that test must be a chinese test, the first sentence is used to attract to the teacher, it makes a big difference from other chinese students, why? because most chinese students in the overseas would probably choose chinese subject in the college in order to prove their academic study which directly relates to their study results, chinese is an only subject that completely better than local students!!

Well, it's a funny joke....
But after the laugh, I feel a little bit sad about the student though...
